Pink Pepper

Pink pepper is no relation of black pepper: its dried berries come from trees native to Peru and Brazil and smell zesty and a little piney, with only a mild bite.

Everyday reference
It is like crushing a few pink peppercorns between your fingers.
What to smell for
Notice a bright, fizzy spice in the first minutes that fades into the heart.
